Channel 9 is tracking two disturbances in the tropical Atlantic.
Of those, the one that is further away is the one to watch, as it has a 60% chance of formation in the next five days, Channel 9 Meteorologist George Waldenberger said.
The disturbance could become another tropical depression as it approaches the Caribbean with the next few days, Waldenberger said.

If it gets a name before July 6, that would be the record earliest fifth named storm for the Atlantic Basin.
