Channel 9 is tracking two disturbances in the tropical Atlantic.
Of those, the one that is further away is the one to watch, as it has a 60% chance of formation in the next five days, Channel 9 Meteorologist George Waldenberger said.
Of the two disturbances we're monitoring, the closer is looking less likely to develop and the farther may form into the next tropical depression within a few days. If it gets a name before July 6, it'd be the record earliest 5th Atlantic storm. pic.twitter.com/AHr2106wJk

The disturbance could become another tropical depression as it approaches the Caribbean with the next few days, Waldenberger said.
