Know Your Bulldogs: "Brendan Douglas" days until kickoff

With only 22 days left until the University of Georgia kicks off the 2016 football season in the Georgia Dome against the University of North Carolina, take a moment to Know Your Bulldogs.

Running the football while sporting the No. 22 jersey in Athens this fall will be senior RB Brendan Douglas. And with injuries looming in the running back corps with Nick Chubb and Sony Michel's statuses in question, Douglas could find himself with more meaningful carries than expected early in the season.

Douglas has built a reputation for being a bruising runner, seeking contact as opposed to trying to get around it. He has very memorable runs earlier in his career, namely against South Carolina and Florida, where he made opposing tacklers very sorry that thay attempted to stop him.

Of Note: Douglas was once committed to Georgia Tech, but decided very late in his recruitment that he did not want to run the triple option, but instead line up in a Pro Set I formation to best exhibit his running talents.
