Miles reportedly checked two bags for the flight on which a Leon County Sheriff’s Office K-9 was able to smell the marijuana “during an open-air sniff,” WCTV reported.

According to the Tallahassee Police Department, Miles, who was en route from California, was a suspect in a previous drug-trafficking investigation in another state, the TV station reported.

Investigators were tipped off that Miles would be arriving with two checked bags loaded with marijuana, the Democrat reported.

He has been charged with trafficking in cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia, WCTV reported.
