Storm Damage in Madison and Oglethorpe Counties

There have been reports of a possible tornado that touched down near Madison and Oglethorpe Counties. According to Captain Brenan Baird from the Madison County Sherriff’s Office, there have been no injuries from this morning’s storms. However, there are multiple fallen trees in Danielsville that are blocking the roadway near highway 29.

“The most significant damages are on the northside between the Neese Community and Colbert,” Baird said.

Eye witnesses have also reported fallen trees in Oglethorpe County, but there have been no reported injuries.

In south Fulton County, there are also downed trees and debris on the roadway near Westgate Parkway.
