The CPSC said the Carhartt Men’s Force Relaxed 5 pocket work pants have an elastic drawstring hem at the ankle. The drawstring can form an extended loop and pose a trip and fall hazard.

The pants were exclusively sold at Dicks Sporting Goods from July through November for about $70.

The pants have product number 105222 printed on the tag near the waistband. All sizes of the pants are being recalled.

The pants can be returned to Dicks Sporting Goods for a full refund, but if owners want to keep them and still get a refund, they can cut the loop from the hem and send a photo of the removed cord to Carhartt at just_ask_us@carhartt.com.

Consumers can call Carhartt at 888-894-7601 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET or visit Carhartt’s website for more information.
