Michael Christiansen stopped by Louie’s Liquor in his hometown of Norfolk and spent $10 for a 20X the Money" scratch-off ticket earlier this month and won $100,000, the Omaha World-Herald reported.

It was a case of déjà vu. In March, Christiansen stopped by the same store and won $50,000 when he scratched off a winning “Money Clip” ticket.

“I couldn’t believe it,” Christiansen told Nebraska Lottery officials. “What are the odds? I didn’t think it was real.”

According to lottery officials, the odds of winning the top prize in each game are 1 in 80,000. Winning both of them? The odds would be astronomical.

Christiansen cashed his latest prize at lottery headquarters on Oct. 15, according to a news release.

The double winner said he plans to use some of his winnings to build a garage and save for retirement, lottery officials said in their news release. Christiansen added that his daughter died recently, and he is trying to buy her house.

He has the cash to do it now.
